PORTER

About

  • The project sits adjacent to the town of Stewart in northwestern British Columbia, and is serviced by year-round paved highways from Terrace. Prince George and Vancouver.
  • Stewart is a deep-water, ice-free port with loading facilities on the Portland Canal.
  • Substantial infrastructure improvements have been made with the support of the local First Nations, community and government of British Columbia, including:
    • Upgraded transmission lines providing clean, affordable and reliable hydroelectric power
    • Highway upgrades
    • Improved port infrastructure
    • Commissioning of three new hydroelectric facilities.

Geology

Regional

  • The Porter Idaho deposit sits on the circum-Pacific Ring of Fire; a geologically active area surrounding the Pacific Ocean.
  • Millions of years of crustal subduction and continent building have formed the perfect conditions for some of the worlds largest and most well known epithermal and porphyry deposits
  • The Porter Idaho project is complemented by StrikePoint’s portfolio of early stage exploration properties in the Yukon, giving the company an excellent placement for success within the Ring of Fire.

Property

  • Property is underlain by a variety of intermediate to felsic fragmental volcanic rocks of the Jurassic Hazelton Group.
  • N to NW-trending, westerly-dipping silver veins are present in the Prosperity-Porter Idaho and Silverado workings.
  • A 2,000 metre long prospective area between these workings has historically been obscured by the Silverado Glacier, ongoing ice recession is uncovering new areas each year.
  • The Silverado Fault extends through Prosperity, Porter Idaho & Silverado; known silver bearing veins are proximal to this fault zone.
  • Mineralized veins on Mount Rainey are epithermal in nature and terminate on the Big Rig Fault.

2020 SURFACE PROGRAM

  • 50-metre new mineralized trend, sample B0014310 240 g/t Ag, 1.52% Pb, 0.22% Zn and sample B0014341  112 g/t Ag, 0.11% Pb, 0.90% Zn, parallel to the past-producing Prosperity vein
  • New prosperity vein surface expression outlined, sample B0014336 182 g/t Ag, 1.125% Pb, 1.81% Zn
  • 200-metre extension of the D vein mineralized trend to the north, sample B0014295  76 g/t Ag, 0.979% Pb, 0.58% Zn, narrows the mineralization gap between the past-producing Prosperity-Porter-Idaho and Silverado mines
  • W20-1033.54 g/t Au & 48.60 g/t Ag @  7.90m
  • Outlined new surface expression of vein #2 north of the historical adit, sample B0014350 1,170 g/t Ag, 0.86% Pb, 0.53% Zn
  • Outlined new surface expression of vein #4 north of the historical adit, sample B0014351 1,385 g/t Ag, 4.10% Pb, 0.43% Zn

2,000 METRE UNEXPLORED AREA

A 2,000 metre unexplored area exists between the past producing Silverado and Porter-Prosperity mines. Veins at both sites run at a similar orientation, therefore it is hypothesized that the system may be continuous under the peak of Mount Rainey.

An NI43-101 Technical Report was completed in 2012 by Dr. Nick Carter, P.Eng. and estimated the following silver resources using values from Porter’s Prosperity and D veins. The Company considers this estimate as historic in accordance with NI43-101.

@170 g/t Ag cut-off Average Grades Contained Metal
Category Tonnes Ag (g/t) Ag (oz)
Indicated 394,700 868 11,000,000
Inferred 88,900 595 1,700,000
