About

  • Located in Nevada, USA on the Walker Lane Gold Trend

Cuprite is a district-scale analog to AngloGold Ashanti’s Silicon deposit (4.22 Moz gold resource, Orogen 1% NSR) where intense, steam-heated hydrothermal alteration outcrops over an area of at least 20 square kilometers. The most intense alteration continues up to the southeastern edge of topography, coincides with mercury anomalism, and is open under cover to the east and south.

UntapPed potential

The margin of a Miocene caldera is located just to the east of altered outcrops and constitutes a highly prospective feeder structure that is untested by drilling. The caldera is associated with slab window magmatism, a tectonic driver linked to recent Walker Lane discoveries including Silicon and Allegiant Gold’s Eastside Project (1.4 Moz gold resource). Cuprite has been historically regarded as a gold-poor system because it displays barren alteration at the surface–an assumption that was proven untrue at Silicon. The property is virtually untested, has exceptional blue sky potential, and represents a rare opportunity in a mature, politically stable jurisdiction like Nevada.
