Description

The Bristol Lake playa is a flat salt lake that occupies approximately 155 sq. km in a 2,000 sq. km arid drainage basin in San Bernardino County, California.

Standard Lithium’s 20,000+ acres of strategically located property sit in the heart of the playa, and overlie a basin that is estimated to be greater than 1000M deep. Standard’s position in this nationally important resource is highly strategic and consists of a mixture of placer claims with an existing brine mining permit, plus private land that substantially reduces permitting risk for process plant siting and operation.

The location has significant infrastructure, easy road and rail access, abundant electricity and water, and partnership with a major player in the brine salt sector offering decades of operational expertise.

“Technology is reshaping our approach to mining, putting resources that were once inaccessible or overlooked within reach.
Several promising technology-driven transformations in lithium processing have the potential to open up new regions to production.”
