SHAWN KHUNKHUN

CEO & Director

Shawn Khunkhun has over 15 years of experience in the capital markets and mineral exploration and development sector. As President and CEO, Mr. Khunkhun is involved in the company’s marketing, financing and corporate development. Mr. Khunkhun has developed long-standing relationships with an extensive global network of high net worth investors, analysts, brokers, investment bankers and private equity groups.

ADRIAN FLEMING

Director

Adrian Fleming is a professional geologist with over 40 years of technical and executive experience with exploration and development stage mining companies. He was the co-founder and president of Underworld Resources from 2006-2010. In 2007, Mr. Fleming, together with colleague Rob McLeod, acquired a Shawn Ryan project with interesting soil geochemistry results. Mr Fleming led the team which made the discovery and defined the maiden resource of the million-ounce White Gold deposit, located in the White Gold district, Yukon. The project was subsequently acquired by Kinross in 2010 for $138M. Mr. Fleming was also involved with gold discoveries and/or developments at Porgera in PNG, Big Bell in Western Australia, Gross Rosebel in Suriname and Hope Bay in Nunavut. Adrian was a founding Director of Northern Empire Resources which was acquired by Coeur Mining for $117M.

ROB McLEOD

Technical Advisor

Mr. McLeod is a professional geoscientist with over twenty-five years’ experience in mining and mineral exploration, working for a variety of major and junior mining companies. He was most recently President and CEO of IDM Mining Ltd., that recently combined with Ascot Resources Ltd. (“Ascot”).  He is a third-generation miner. Born and raised in Stewart B.C., he has significant exploration and development experience, particularly at the Red Mountain Project which hosts similar geology to both the Willoughby and Porter properties of Strikepoint. Previously, he was founder and VP Exploration of Underworld Resources. Kinross Gold Corporation acquired Underworld for $140M after an initial resource estimate of over 1.4Moz gold at the White gold Deposit in the Yukon. He is a highly technical, creative and innovative exploration geologist. He was also VP Exploration and CEO of Full Metal Minerals Ltd., an Alaska-focused exploration company with numerous discoveries to his credit. Mr. McLeod’s exploration strategy is a multi-tiered approach, including: conceptual geologic ideas with prospecting, early-stage project advancement focusing on discovery, and advancing mid-stage projects towards feasibility. As an exploration geologist and project manager at Miramar’s Hope Bay project, Mr. McLeod was part of the team that discovered the Naartok deposit, as well as expanding and delineating the Boston and Doris deposits. He was previously Vice-President of Exploration for Atna Resources and is currently an independent director of Gold Standard Ventures.  He is a graduate of Geology from the University of British Columbia, with a M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration from Queens University.  He is an active volunteer in the mining industry, as Vice-Chair of AME-BC, and as a director of the Britannia Mine Museum.

ANDY RANDELL

QP/Technical Advisor

Andy Randell is a Vancouver based geologist with nearly 20 years of experience from Europe, South and North America across a variety of commodities. He founded his own consultancy, Strata GeoData Services in 2014, and then launched the ‘Hive’ initiative shortly afterwards, whereby graduate geologists are given the opportunity to work and be mentored on real geological projects. He was subsequently recognised by the Canadian Institute of Mining in 2016 when he was awarded the Bedford Young Mining Leaders Award for the Hive concept. In January 2017, Andy was elected onto the Board of Directors for the Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) for a three-year term. He also sits on the Mentoring Committee with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists BC (APEGBC), is on the CIM Geological Society committee and is President of the Below BC Geological Association, a public facing geological education non-profit society.

IAN HARRIS

Director

Mr. Harris is a mining engineer with over 20 years of mining experience. He was most recently senior vice-president and country manager of Corriente Resources in Ecuador, and was directly involved in the operations and negotiations that led to the sale of Corriente for $690-million (U.S.). Mr. Harris brings a strong background of project management, strategic management and technical skills to the board of Strikepoint. Ian is currently the President of Para Resources (PBR:TSX.V), a gold mining company with operations in Columbia and Arizona.

RYAN WEYMARK

Technical Advisor

Ryan Weymark, P. Eng. is an energetic Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with experience in mining, heavy civil and infrastructure projects. Ryan has experience working on projects as a consultant, contractor and owner’s representative at various stages, from pre-feasibility through to completion. Mr. Weymark is the Principal of Weymark Consulting, providing project management services to the resource sector, including Teck Alaska Corporation and Imperial Metals.

Ryan worked for IDM Mining as Vice President – Project Development, until the acquisition by Ascot in March 2019.  Prior to joining IDM Mining, Mr. Weymark was a Project Manager with Ledcor Contractors Ltd. in the Heavy Civil and Mining Division. Prior to Ledcor, Ryan worked for Teck Resources Ltd. in various project and operational roles, including Mine Construction Project Manager for the Line Creek Phase II Expansion Project and Project Engineer for the Quintette Coal Operations Project. Prior to Teck, Mr. Weymark worked for SNC-Lavalin Inc. in the Mining & Metallurgy Division on various feasibility and pre-feasibility studies. Mr. Weymark holds a B.A.Sc from the University of British Columbia in Mining and Mineral Processing and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

MARK GELMON

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Gelmon obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of British Columbia and subsequently attained his chartered accountant designation in 1995 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of B.C. Mr. Gelmon has provided his expertise to several TSX Venture Exchange listed companies in the capacity of director, chief financial officer and consultant. His background as a C.A. provides the Company with the necessary skills required for financial management, reporting operating results to the Board of Directors, liaison with financial institutions, and compliance with today’s complex regulatory reporting requirements.

JOHN FLOREK

Technical Advisor

Mr. Florek is a professional geologist with over 23 years of diversified experience in the mining industry, including exploration and operations. He has an MSc in geology and his work has covered a broad range of mineral commodities, including gold, base metals, platinum group metals and diamonds throughout Canada, United States, Australia, Europe, plus Central and South America. Mr. Florek was previously responsible for the management and execution of mineral exploration and development for BHP Minerals, Placer Dome and Barrick. He was part of the team that received the 2008 Developer of the Year Award, presented by the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association, for extending the life of mine at Barrick’s Hemlo mine.

MARION MCGRATH

Corporate Secretary

Ms. McGrath has been actively engaged in the securities industry for 30 years. She has served as a director and officer of numerous public companies in a corporate administrative capacity. Ms. McGrath is the owner of iO Corporate Services, which provides corporate and accounting services to various publicly traded Canadian companies. Prior to organizing iO Corporate, Ms. McGrath was a senior paralegal with a Vancouver-based securities law firm.

DARRYL JONES

Director

Mr. Jones has over 15 years of capital market experience and an established financial network. Prior to joining Strikepoint in 2015, Mr. Jones was an Investment advisor with PI Financial Corp Canada and Raymond James Ltd Canada. He was responsible for raising significant risk capital for growth companies in all sectors, with a particular focus on natural resources.

CAROL LI

Director
Carol Li is the CFO, of Ascot Resources, (AOT:TSX.V), Ascot owns 12% of StrikePoint, Ms. Li, serves as Ascot’s representative on the StrikePoint board of directors.
Ms. Li is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of financial and executive experience. Prior to joining Ascot in 2017 Ms. Li spent eight years at Quadra Mining/Quadra FNX as Corporate Controller and then five years at its successor KGHM International as VP, Finance. She was a key member in the leadership team that transitioned the company from a one mine junior producer to a multi-national company with six operating mines and three development projects.
